Spotlessly clean room with a fantastic seating area, both inside and outside. The kitchenette was well equipped, perfect for preparing meals. I loved the charming decor that made the stay feel special. Hilary's breakfasts were delicious, truly a highlight of my mornings. the mattresses could use some improvement for better comfort. only having one toilet for multiple guests was a bit inconvenient, especially when there's no private bathroom in some areas. The walk to Dunkeld's village was easy and enjoyable, which added to the overall experience.

The rooms were beautifully refurbished with individual kitchenette facilities, and the excellent full Scottish breakfast set us up perfectly for the day. The honesty bar was a nice touch, providing a diverse selection.
The walls were thin, which led to some noise disturbances from adjacent rooms—definitely not ideal for getting a good night's sleep. The arrangement of two single beds instead of a double was a bit inconvenient for couples, and some guests commented on the mattresses being inconsistent, with a few even mentioning slants. Traffic noise from the nearby main road also disrupted the peaceful atmosphere we were hoping for. Lastly, while the kitchen facilities were handy, several guests felt they were a bit limited, especially for longer stays. A full bath would enhance the comfort too, as it was missed during our time there.

The best and worst parts
The room was stunningly large, filled with elegant decor, and the kitchenette was a fantastic addition, allowing us to prepare our own breakfast! !
Unfortunately, the thin walls resulted in unwanted noise disturbances, and the beds could be more comfortable with some inconsistency reported.

Solo traveler paradise
Staying here, I was welcomed by a charming owner who even printed out hiking instructions for me! I felt right at home, like I was visiting family. The breakfast was fantastic, definitely a great way to start the day and the cozy atmosphere made everything even better.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but worth every penny.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! The kitchenette allowed us to whip up meals easily, and we loved exploring the nearby bakeries. The location was perfect for scenic walks, and we spent a day at the local sets center, which was just down the street. Definitely a cozy place to kick back after adventures.
One downside was having only one toilet for our group, which made things a bit tricky during busy mornings.
